Welcome to TKFDA

Here at The Kirsty Farrow Dance Academy, our aim is to make dancing an enjoyable and educational experience for children and adults of all ages. Learn together, dance forever.

We pride ourselves on our high standard of teaching in Ballet, Tap, Modern, Jazz, National, Drama and Musical Theatre classes. Our philosophy is to encourage each student to achieve their full potential in a safe, friendly and fun environment.

Students of TKFDA have the opportunity to take ISTD examinations in Ballet, Modern, Tap, Jazz and National, LCM examinations in Musical Theatre and LAMDA examinations in Drama. We are proud to have 100% pass rate in all genres.

We regularly compete in 3 competitions a year during the half term holidays showcasing the talent we have here at TKFDA. Students in our competition teams perform solos, duets, trios and groups in a number of dance genres.
 

Current students are members of Tap Attack, Regional Youth Ballet, BalletBoyz, Ballet Theatre UK and Royal Ballet Junior Associates. They also take part in professional productions with Qdos Pantomimes and BBC Strictly Come Dancing with the Stars.

Graduates of the school have gone on to study at Vocational Colleges; including Bird College, Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, Addict Dance Academy, Urdang Academy, Laine Theatre Arts and Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance.

Our dance, drama and musical theatre classes are based in our state-of-the-art studios Swindon in Wiltshire.
