Festivals

Our Junior, Intermediate and Senior Competition Teams compete at four festivals a year during school holidays, in and around the South West of England.

Many of our students in the competition teams have been awarded 1st, 2nd and 3rd places in solos, duets, trios and groups in many dance genres as well as trophies for 'highest mark', 'classical aggregates', 'cabaret aggregates' and 'adjudicators choice'; this showcases the talent we have here at TKFDA.

Three out of the four festivals we compete at are 'All England' qualifiers meaning that students achieving a high enough mark for their dance can go on to compete at 'All England Semi Finals' and consequently 'All England National Finals' at the Hackney Empire, London; of which we have had great success in both.
